SALVO SC ACADEMY
The Academy is Salvo SC’s most competitive and intensive pathway. It is designed for athletes who are committed to year-round training and competition, and who are aspiring to excel at the varsity high school level – and in many cases, compete in college athletics.
Academy teams train and compete year-round, with a rigorous schedule that includes local, regional, and select national competition opportunities depending on age and stage of development.
Within the Academy, our Academy 1 and Academy 2 teams represent Salvo SC’s 1st and 2nd teams for the southeast metro region – our most competitive and driven players competing at the highest level we offer, playing for some of the top youth soccer coaches in MN.
For Girls U13–U18, our Academy 1 teams compete in the Girls Academy League – one of the most prestigious competitive leagues in the country for young female players. These teams include regular regional travel along with some national travel, and they are explicitly oriented toward elite competition and college athletic opportunities.
Salvo SC Academy teams are the right fit for a player and family who want a serious, year-round commitment to soccer training, development and competition opportunities.

It is Salvo SC’s mission to provide financial assistance for players in need. An application for assistance is a certification that a player will not be able to participate in the Club without financial assistance due to severe family financial situations.
