Megan Rasmussen brings more than 15 years of coaching experience to Salvo Soccer Club and is dedicated to developing players both on and off the field. Her coaching background spans youth and collegiate soccer, with extensive experience in player development and specialized goalkeeper training.

Rasmussen has served as an Assistant Coach and Goalkeeping Coach with the University of Wisconsin–River Falls women’s soccer program since 2010, where she works closely with collegiate goalkeepers while helping prepare student-athletes to compete at a high level. Her long tenure at the collegiate level has provided valuable experience in technical instruction, player mentorship, and high-performance development.

At the youth level, Rasmussen began coaching with Woodbury Soccer Club in 2013 before joining Salvo Soccer Club when the organization was founded in 2018. Since then, she has coached players across a wide range of age groups and competitive levels, with a particular passion for the U10–U12 developmental years. She believes these formative seasons are critical for building technical ability, confidence, decision-making, and a lifelong enjoyment of the game.

Rasmussen holds the U.S. Soccer Goalkeeping Level 1 and Level 2 Licenses, along with U.S. Soccer Grassroots 7v7 and 9v9 Licenses. She remains committed to ongoing coach education and providing an exceptional developmental experience for every player she coaches.
