Salvo’s community girls youth soccer program is player-centered and focuses on the development of the whole player within a group environment. We’re devoted to the enjoyment of our players and offer an opportunity for players to have fun, learn about soccer, and develop a love for the game at any age.

Salvo SC’s youth community rec soccer program is the only recreation program in the state of Minnesota to receive the US Youth Soccer 5-Star Recreation Award multiple times. Find your team and start loving the game today!

The Woodbury Athletic Association offers all four seasons of community soccer powered by Salvo. The fall and spring seasons also offer a Futures program for 8U-9U players looking to transition into performance soccer.

Our Rosemount & Farmington community program offers three seasons of recreational soccer: fall, winter, and spring.

Our Mendota Heights community program offers three seasons of recreational soccer: fall, winter, and spring. In the fall, the Two Rivers Athletic Association offers the Warrior Soccer program powered by Salvo.

IconWho Coaches Community Soccer?

Our Spring, Summer, and Fall community programs are parent-coach-driven! All teams are coached by parent volunteers with coaching plans and resources provided by Salvo staff.

Parent coaches with completion of background check, SafeSport, and Concussion Training receive a reimbursement for their player's registration at the end of the season.

**Winter community soccer is coached by Salvo staff.

IconHow Are Teams Formed?

Once registration is complete, our staff will organize the teams based on age, parent coaches, buddy requests, school, and finally random. Some age groups have the potential to be gender specific or co-ed, depending on the final registration numbers.

After you’re registered, expect to receive email and/or text communication from your coach and the Salvo staff with more specific information on practices, schedules, games, and more.

IconWhat Is The Futures Soccer Program?

The Futures rec program is for players ages 8U & 9U who plan to transition to our performance or travel soccer program. Futures Soccer Program is offered through our Woodbury sessions during the spring and fall seasons.

Futures Soccer is geared to create a fun yet challenging environment. Our friendly and qualified staff work with players on some of the following concepts:

  • Dribbling with all parts of the feet
  • 1v1, stop and start, turns, and other soccer-related techniques
  • Passing and receiving
  • Scrimmages and games

Players in the program train one extra night each week with a Salvo SC staff coach. They also may play with other clubs in surrounding communities during the season.

IconWhat’s the Community Rec Program Refund Policy?

After registering, our recreation program refund policy is:

  • Player drops out before registration closes, 100% returned.
  • Player drops out between registration closing but within the first week of the season, 50% returned.
  • Player drops out within the second week of the season, 25% returned.
  • No refund of late fees.

The Woodbury Athletic Association will hold a $30 admin fee on ALL Woodbury registration refunds.

Community Jamboree

Don’t miss our Community Jamboree! The Jamboree is a day during the fall and spring seasons when all of our recreational programs come together for fun and competition. Show off your skills and challenge yourself to friendly competition against rec teams from around the Woodbury, Rosemount, Farmington, and Mendota Heights areas!
