Assistant Girls Director – Coaching  ACademy 1 – U11 & U15

Ashley Becker enters her new role as the Girls Assistant Director at Salvo Soccer Club, bringing a strong background in player development, leadership, and competitive soccer operations. A former standout collegiate goalkeeper and emerging leader in the Minnesota soccer landscape, Becker has quickly established herself as one of the top young female coaches in the region through her work in coaching, program management, and athlete development.

Before stepping into club leadership, Becker built one of the most decorated playing careers in Gustavus Adolphus College women’s soccer history. A four-year starting goalkeeper and team captain, she became the program’s all-time leader in career saves while earning MIAC All-Conference honors in all four seasons of her collegiate career. She was also named Gustavus Female Athlete of the Decade (2010–2019) and a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American in 2017.

At Salvo SC, Becker oversees Girls U11-U14 Competitive Programming, helping guide player development structures, coach mentorship, team formation, and long-term planning. She has also played a key role in strengthening the club’s communication and branding initiatives through social media and storytelling efforts.

Becker’s coaching experience spans the youth, high school, college, and Olympic Development Program levels. She currently serves as an Assistant Coach at Carleton College while also working with both the Minnesota and Midwest Region Olympic Development Programs. She currently holds her USSF C License and is pursuing her USSF B License.

Known for her organization, communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships with players, families, and staff, Becker combines elite playing experience with a modern developmental approach centered around long-term athlete growth and competitive excellence.
