Arent Hiltermann enters his new role as U8-U10 Director at Salvo Soccer Club with over 15 years of coaching experience and a strong passion for early player development. A dual national from the United States and the Netherlands, Hiltermann brings an international perspective to player development and has built a reputation for creating engaging, technically focused environments that help young players develop confidence, creativity, and a love for the game.

Since joining Salvo SC in 2023, Hiltermann has served as the U8-U10 Girls and Boys Lead and Programming Director, helping shape foundational programming across the club’s youngest age groups. Prior to Salvo, he served as Director of Coaching at Wave Soccer Club and held leadership roles with Eclipse Select MN and Mahtomedi Soccer Club, where he oversaw coaching education, player development initiatives, and age group programming.

Hiltermann began coaching at just 16 years old and has remained committed to the game ever since concluding his playing career at the semi-professional level in the Netherlands. His coaching philosophy centers around creating positive, player-centered environments where young athletes are encouraged to take risks, build confidence on the ball, and develop both as players and people.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Urban Planning and Design, Hiltermann holds a USSF D License and the United Soccer Coaches National Diploma. He continues to play a key role in building Salvo’s developmental foundation and long-term player pathway.
