
Coach – GiRLs ACademy 2 – U13
Armando Oster brings more than 15 years of coaching and technical leadership experience to Salvo Soccer Club, with a background that spans recreational, competitive, and academy-level soccer. Throughout his career, he has worked with players from ages 3 through 18, helping athletes develop the technical skills, confidence, and game understanding needed to succeed at every stage of the youth pathway.
Since 2010, Oster has served as a club head coach, guiding players through each phase of their development while building positive team cultures centered on learning, accountability, and long-term growth. His extensive experience across multiple age groups provides valuable perspective as players transition into increasingly competitive environments, including the important shift to 11v11 soccer.
In addition to his team coaching responsibilities, Oster has held several leadership positions within Minnesota youth soccer, including Technical Director for Blaine Soccer Club, Youth Director for Eden Prairie Soccer Club, and Head Varsity Soccer Coach. These roles have allowed him to mentor coaches, oversee player development initiatives, and help shape club-wide technical standards.
Oster holds a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma, United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma, a U.S. Soccer National D License, and a U.S. Soccer National Youth License. His combination of technical expertise, leadership experience, and commitment to holistic player development makes him a valuable mentor for players and families alike.
