Recreation Soccer U5-U12
Salvo SC’s Recreation youth soccer program is player-centered and focuses on the development of the whole player within a group environment. We are devoted to our players’ enjoyment; we offer an opportunity for players to have fun, learn about soccer, and develop a love for the game at any age.
Our program is the only recreation program in the state of Minnesota to receive the US Youth Soccer 5-Star Recreation Award multiple times. Join us and start loving the game today! Register now on your location page below, or contact our office with any questions.

GENERAL INFORMATION
We offer Rec in three different locations. Check out FAQs and how our program works at the specific location pages below:
Teams are formed after registration has closed, and once enough parent volunteer coaches are confirmed to support all groups.
Teams are organized by age group, buddy requests, school, and finally, using random assignment when needed.
Some age groups have the potential to be gender-specific or co-ed, depending on final registration numbers.
The Futures Rec program is for U8 & U9 players who plan to transition to our Competitive soccer program. Our Futures program is offered in our Woodbury location during the spring and fall seasons.
As a bridge program, it is geared to create a fun yet challenging environment where players can develop key soccer skills. Salvo SC utilizes an academy-style training program on Friday nights, exclusively for our Futures players. Our experienced and friendly staff will focus on:
- Dribbling with all parts of the feet
- 1v1, stop and start, turns, and other soccer-related techniques
- Passing and receiving
- Scrimmages and games
Futures players will participate in 3 training sessions per week: one team training session, one game, and one academy-style training session on Friday with Salvo SC coaching staff. Additionally, there may be 1-2 other soccer events during the season.
Because we have multiple Recreation programs, some hosted by different associations, our refund policies vary.
