Boys Youth Travel Soccer Overview
In the Salvo SC Boys Travel soccer program, players can register for fall and/or summer seasons that meet three times a week. Families decide which season(s) to participate in within the Travel program and U9-U12 players have the option to get extra training in our winter programming.
Players work with our Salvo SC staff and play in the Twin Cities Soccer League. Use this boys youth soccer program as a way to grow your soccer skills, make new friends, and play more competitively within your community, or use it as a stepping stone that advances your soccer talents into our Elite or High Performance programs.
How to Join Our Travel Soccer Program
In order to participate in our boys Travel soccer program, all players should attend one of our Player ID sessions. Similar to tryouts, Player ID occurs two times per year, once in mid/late July for players U9-U19 and again in late October/early November for players U9-U10. This session allows our coaches to assess a player’s skills and strengths on the field and match them with an appropriate team.
If it is currently between June 1 and August 1, please register for and attend Player ID. If it is outside of that timeframe, please email registration@salvosoccer.org with your player’s full name, gender, and birth date to inquire on a team placement.

25’/26′ Teams
Travel teams practice around your community/geo: Woodbury, Rosemount/Farmington, or Mendota Heights. Games are played within a 30-mile radius or less. Field assigning & scheduling is dependent on when we receive field permits from our cities and schools – specific locations are determined shortly before the season begins and will be listed in teams’ PlayMetrics calendars.
Salvo SC pricing structures are broken into two types of fees: Club fees and Team fees. Please note that each family pays both Club fees and Team fees associated with the team they are placed on after Player ID. Club fees are fixed, but Team fees are an estimate based on expected plans for each team. If all Team fees collected are not used, they will be refunded to team families (similarly, if the team decides to add extra events, Team fees can increase).
Club fees cover league registration, fields and referees for games, coach/staff fees, and indoor training. Team fees cover event registration and coach travel. These fees DO NOT include player travel or uniform costs.
